Controller

Tamakkan is operated by Global University. For this policy, Global University is the controller of the personal data collected through the Tamakkan assessment, student dashboard, crew portal, and contact forms.

Information We Collect

We collect the information needed to deliver academic and career guidance: name, email address, phone number, preferred language, account identifiers, assessment answers, calculated DISC/RIASEC/HBDI-style scores, recommended majors, advisor notes, and support messages.

We may also collect technical information such as browser metadata, timestamps, page interactions, and spam-control timing signals so we can secure the service and troubleshoot issues.

How We Use Information

• Generate assessment results, recommended majors, and shareable non-PII result views.
• Let students access dashboards, messages, and follow-up guidance.
• Let authorized Tamakkan crew members review submissions, manage HBDI access, and support students.
• Improve the assessment experience, reliability, security, and content quality.

Storage and Processors

Tamakkan stores application data in Supabase-hosted infrastructure. Supabase provides authentication, database, edge function, and related platform services. Data is protected by transport encryption, row-level security, role-gated access, and operational controls appropriate to the service.

Sharing

We do not sell student data. We share personal data only with service providers that operate Tamakkan, authorized Global University personnel, or where required by law. Public result links, when enabled by a student, expose only assessment scores, dominant profile text, top major recommendations, result type, and completion date.

Retention

We keep assessment and account records while they are needed for guidance, support, reporting, security, or legal obligations. You can request deletion or correction using the contact details below.

Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal data. You may also ask how a result was generated or request that we disable a shared result link.
